All our cars must be environmenta-friendly

We will have Eco Friendly ATM's

Environment

Only electric cars will be sold, so every citizen in IPALE must own this form of transportation. Electric cars are powered directly by electricity rather than a combustible fuel. It has an array of rechargeable batteries, at least one electric motor, a controller that feeds electricity to the motor(s) based on input from the accelerator pedal, and a charging system. The vehicle can be recharged by it into one of the following power sources: a standard household outlet, an upgraded home charging system that cuts recharging time in half, or a quick-charge station provided by a city in IPALE.

  • How does it work?

    • The controller takes power from the batteries and delivers it to the motor. The accelerator pedal hooks to a pair of potentiometers (measuring instrument), and these provide the signal that tells the controller how much power it is supposed to deliver. A signal is sent to the controller from the potentiometers to tell it how much power to deliver to the electric car’s motor; which controls the car’s wheels.

SAVE THE ENVIRONMENT! GO GREEN!

EcoATM is a machine that allows users to exchange old electronics for cash. By recycling old devices with this ATM, the citizens of IPALE will prevent toxic mining waste from being poured into the environment. The machine uses artificial intelligence to evaluate the electronics, and can also detect if one of the devices was stolen, contributing to the decrease of theft. It is a completely secure machine that assures personal data security.

  • How does it work?

    • The citizen must insert his or her ID so that the machine keeps a record of every individual who has utilized the technology

    • For further identity verification, the user must have a thumbprint scan for every transaction and the machine can also capture images of its surroundings/citizens

    • The worth of every device is calculated by the ATM and the amount that the individual received is based on this worth

    • User-friendly: User inputs information about this device (given by options by the ATM). Output depends on the user’s inputs (worth of a device), through a slit in the machine.

    • Real life example:

Article title: “EcoATM Offers Great Trade-in Values: Increases Cash Payouts for Samsung Galaxy S5 and iPhone 6 Prior to Galaxy S6 Launch” → Talks about how an ecoATM survey revealed that only 16% of iPhone owners would never make the switch to Galaxy S6. The EcoATM has yet another feature: it can ask surveys and give companies of the devices that customers are recycling an idea of what they prefer. EcoATM can then proceed to contribute to aid the payment of a new phone or device for the customer.
